Print methods

How We Print Your T-Shirts

Not sure which method suits your design? Send us your artwork and quantities and we'll advise before quoting.

DTF Transfers

Our go-to for T-shirt printing. Full-colour, detailed designs on most garment colours. Works well for logos, illustrations and complex artwork.

Screen Print Transfers

Cost-effective for larger runs with bold, flat designs. Good for events, team kits and group orders with consistent artwork.

HTV Vinyl

Cut vinyl lettering and shapes. Suits names, numbers and simple designs. A solid choice for small quantities.

Embroidery

For a smarter, raised finish on T-shirts and polo shirts. Works best with simpler logos and text. A one-off digitising fee applies.

Common questions

T-Shirt Printing FAQs

What print methods do you use for T-shirts?

We use DTF transfers, screen print transfers, HTV vinyl and embroidery. DTF is our most common method for T-shirts as it handles full-colour and detailed designs well. We'll advise on the best option for your artwork and quantity.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

In many cases, no. The right minimum depends on the print method and design. Send your details and we'll advise before quoting.

Do you supply the T-shirts?

Yes. We usually supply the T-shirts ourselves. This helps us choose garments that are suitable for the print method and means we can handle replacements more fairly if there is a production issue. We do not usually print on customer-supplied T-shirts.

What artwork file do I need?

For best results, send a high-quality PDF, PNG or vector file at 300dpi. Send whatever you have and we'll advise on whether it will work.

Can you print full-colour designs?

Yes. DTF transfers handle full-colour designs well, including gradients and detailed illustrations. Send your artwork and we'll confirm the best method.

Can you print on different coloured T-shirts?

Yes. DTF transfers work on most garment colours including dark fabrics. Let us know your preferred garment colour when you enquire.

How long does a T-shirt printing order take?

Turnaround depends on the quantity, print method and garment choice. Let us know your deadline when you enquire and we'll confirm what's possible.

Can you print T-shirts for events or group orders?

Yes. We regularly print T-shirts for events, charity runs, surf schools, sports clubs and group trips. Let us know your numbers and deadline and we'll help you plan the order.
